Villa Rainbow Home Mallorca
What a fabulous villa! The photos don’t do it justice - even more amazing in real life. Everything catered for and the host was so welcoming and helpful. We went for a hen do and loved the villa so much, would definitely go back! Close to the airport and to Palma. Rooms clean and perfect size . We ordered a food shop and the kitchen was spacious and fully equipped to cook our own food . 10/10
Villa Son Pax Petit
Gigantic 800 hectare finca that has the largest private herd of donkeys on the island of the only original Mallorcan donkey breed, Asino Mallorquin. Unfortunately, the donkeys are not domesticated and there is practically no chance of getting close to the 27 donkeys, for example to pet them. A few take food - apples, carrots - from their hands. The younger ones, which are not fully grown, are kept in a separate herd under the supervision of an adult pair of donkeys, consisting of a stallion and a mare. The other donkeys can move around the area almost freely and are used to eat the undergrowth in order to keep the risk of a forest fire low. The property is home to a flock of sheep and produces, among other things, almonds and olives. The finca has an entire mountain over and around which a road leads. There are many old wartime positions at the top of the mountain. The mountain is particularly easy to hike if you start from the area of the neighboring Finca Son Brondo. Get the key there for the Son Brondo valley and then follow the official hiking trails. You pass through fantastic rocky terrain with lots of holm oak forest. Son Patx is not public. But the owners of Son Brondo can arrange a visit with the owner of Son Patx. And it's worth it, and not just because of the donkeys. The finca is in top condition and dates back to Moorish times. Inside, it does not have a smooth surface in the inner courtyard, but is completely laid out in steps. This is very rare in Moorish buildings. It is extremely interesting to talk to the owner, she also speaks English very well. A visit there, an insight into everyday life at the finca and exploring the fascinating mountain world fill a day well and are an adventure that you won't soon forget.
