Wonderful place, fantastic view of the Tuscan countryside, a warm reception from Silvia and Henrik, what more could you want? Oh, yes, it’s with easy traveling distance from so many of the places you will want to visit! Pisa, Firenze, Volterra, San Gimignano…

This place is an Out-of-this-world experience! Absolutely uncomparable! We were fortunate enough to spend 4 days there to celebrate the wedding of our friends. This place really is surreal... It combines the breathtaking tuscany nature, incredible views and architectorial highlights. This Castle and the whole countryside around it are full of history. Which the very friendly owner gave us a tour about. She had so much to tell. This Castle is hundreds of years old, full of interesting facts and history and has seen so many things (for example: even Napoleon stayed here once) And still you will have to make no compromise regarding amenities or anything. The area around it has several of countryside houses, belonging to the property. Equiped with pools etc. It has multiple own lakes, acres of beautiful italian land and even wild horses grassing on the green hills. Everybody who ever has the chance: You have to go there!

Amazing place and a perfect location to stay when visiting the area. Massino and his wife are very lovely, well organised and caring hosts who ensured we had a pleasant stay. Because of the interior, you have a feeling that you are staying overnight in a castle or a museum that normally would be available only for visiting. Private swimming pool nearby available to guests only was great. Access to the tower with an amazing view was a nice surprise as well. I highly recommend the place and truly hope to visit it again.
