My family and I came from California and stayed here. We had high expectations and they were all met. The location is very good. The lake was great to swim in and for other water sports. The house is much nicer than any above average hotel or Airbnb. The thoughtful amenities throughout made for convenience and a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

We were able to enjoy this wonderful accommodation for a week. We rented Apartment 2, which was very clean and lovingly decorated. Even the four of us were perfectly comfortable there, not least thanks to the friendly and always helpful nature of the Bornemann couple. The adjoining park, which we were allowed to use at any time (which we did extensively), is worth a visit in itself. Last but not least, the village of Adorf, where Landhaus Bornemann is located, is also worth mentioning, with its Hessenpark charm and truly friendly residents. This won't be the last time we've been there and we can only recommend this wonderful country house. Thank you very much for this wonderful week.
