We spent our vacation at the Dannauer Reetkate in July 2025. There were big arguments with our children afterward, who wanted to give it 6 stars, but unfortunately, 5 stars is the highest rating. Never before have we experienced such great landlords: totally in a good mood, they help with bike rentals, and even take the kids for a ride on the quad bike. The Reetkate is also magical. It took less than a second to settle in. Everything is perfectly furnished and completely clean. If you don't want to make a mistake, this is the place for you. The beach is about 3 km away; but there's a bike path that leads there, which we covered every day on bikes and scooters. It was better than driving because you can get right to the beach and, on top of that, save €15.00 on parking fees, plus you get some fresh air.
