From the village you can make nice walks. In the village there are several wine cellars you can visit. Harald is a very friendly host who gives you a lot of information about the region. It was actually as nice as hoped after all the positive comments. There are a few very nice walking routes from the house. Café, ice cream parlor, EDEKA, winery can all be reached on foot in a few minutes in town. Patricia's homemade jams and juices are a hit. The place is so conveniently located in the Kaiserstuhl that you have short distances in all directions. It's 20 minutes to beautiful places in France.
