Ferienwohnungen in Alleinlage in Zell am Harmersbach

Wer Urlaub auf einem urigen Bauernhof mag, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren 14 Tage bei Fam. Breig zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist familiär. Es war immer Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch und wir durften am Landleben teilhaben. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen, es fehlte uns an nichts. Auch unsere Hündin war sehr willkommen und hat sich mit der "Haushündin" gut vertragen. Toll waren die 6 lebenden Bio Tonnen, immer hungrig und schön zu beobachten, die Schweinchen. Wir danken Fam. Breig für die schöne Zeit und freuen uns auf nächstes Jahr.

The short version: A fantastic accommodation with everything you need and an incredibly friendly host family. We didn't lack for anything, the food from the farm shop was great, and the kids have practically already decided that we'll definitely come back next year. All in all, a very nice vacation in a dream region. The long version: We needed to get away. Work was stressful, the girls wanted a vacation, so we looked for vacation apartments near us. Why near us? Because here in the Black Forest, we don't have to travel far to find beautiful landscapes and peace and quiet to recharge our batteries. The Halterhof immediately appealed to us with its idyllic description, and so we decided to stay there for four nights. Well, what was promised was kept. The vacation apartment is the right size for a stay with two children. A children's room, a bathroom with a shower, a living room with a kitchenette, and a bedroom for the parents with a balcony offer plenty of space. The outdoor facilities and the small playground (standard swing, nest swing, hammock, seesaw) next to the house are well-maintained and offer children the opportunity to let off steam. The absolute highlight, besides the lovingly renovated building and the venerable Black Forest farm where the Schwendenmann family lives and operates, are the animals. Chickens, pigs, cows, cats, and an old farm dog captured our girls' hearts, and they both still rave about the calves they found so cute. So there was always something to see and do, and that was more than enough. For us, it was an opportunity to unwind a bit. The pleasant conversations with Mr. and Mrs. Schwendenmann were very enjoyable and did us good – here you can find warm hospitality combined with a down-to-earth attitude, two qualities that are so characteristic of the Black Forest. It was a great pleasure for us, and we will spend another week at the Halterhof next year. Until then, the four of us wish the Schwendenmann family all the best!

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape then look no further. We absolutely loved staying here, with the highlight being sitting on the balcony, taking in the spectacular views with only the sound of storks. The location was perfect and we were able to do some amazing walks. A car is probably preferable but this accommodation is close to the train station. Walkable into the nearby quaint village with bars and restaurants - there is also an Aldi close by and the kitchen is well set up to do your own cooking. The accommodation was spotless and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Anne was always reachable and happy to answer any questions/offer recommendations. 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend staying here if you’re in the Black Forest!
